The Legislature-Parliament handled the ongoing business of the Tenth Session in November, 2011. 09 meetings altogether were convened during the month of November. The major highlight of the month is as follows:

The deliberations of the seventy-third meeting of the Legislature-Parliament is worth mentioning because this meeting primarily discussed one of the pertinent issues of the rule of law weakening this time due to the act of Prime Minister himself who actually afforded the political protection to a convicted Constituent Assembly (CA) member, Mr. Bala Krishna Dhungel. Mr. Dhungel was declared guilty in a murder case last year by the Supreme Court of Nepal.
